Light House Museum
The St. Simons Lighthouse Museum is located near the village and pier. The Lighthouse and Keeper’s Dwelling were built in 1872 to replace the original lighthouse built in 1810 by James Gould of Massachusetts, the first lighthouse keeper. The original lighthouse was destroyed by Confederate forces in 1861 to prevent the beacon’s use by Federal troops during the Civil War.
Faith Chapel
Located within the Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark District, the Jekyll Island Museum oversees 90 acres of property including Faith Chapel, Villa Ospo, and many other available sites. Completed in 1904, Faith Chapel was a non-denominational chapel for the members of the Jekyll Island Club.


Mallery Park
Mallery Park is located on Mallery Street just north of Pier Village on St. Simons Island. Kings Park, on the east side of Mallery Street, is an extension of Mallery Park. Combined, these parks offer a basketball court, shuffle boards, tennis courts, Butler Fields, and more.
Driftwood Beach
Located on the north end of Jekyll Island, Driftwood Beach will amaze you with the beautiful driftwood and trees that resemble a scene from another world. These gnarled and weathered trees are left behind from years of erosion. Driftwood Beach offers a wonderful location for photographs and is a very popular site for weddings.


St. Simons Pier Village
Take a stroll down the Pier to discover many of the things that make this such a special place to visit. With plenty of marine life in the waters surrounding St. Simons Island, you might see a local bottlenose dolphin splash from the pier or watch a pelican as it flies by.
Neptune Park
Neptune Park, also referred to as the St. Simons Island Casino, is located on the southern tip of St. Simons Island in Pier Village. This oceanfront park is home to many annual events throughout the year including, Memorial Day’s Taps at Twilight, the 4th of July Celebration, Jazz in the Park, A Little Light Music and Movie Night Under the Stars.
